MES Medical College Hospital comes under the ambit of The Muslim Educational Society (MES), Kerala’s most prestigious and renowned educational Organisation started in 1964. The Muslim Educational Society is the brain child of a small group of Muslim intellectuals led by the great Neurologist, Late Dr. P.K. Abdul Ghafoor, the Founder President of the Muslim Educational Society, who had dedicated his entire life for an educational revolution in the country and pledged to keep the lamp of knowledge aloft to illuminate the life of a society which was till then a neglected class and deprived of avenues for even acquiring primary education.
MES MCH, now has transformed the Healthcare scenario in the Malabar region. This has been achieved by maintaining high standards in clinical care using the latest diagnostic and treatment facilities available.

Since 2010 onwards, we have started Preventive clinics in MES Medical college Hospital under the department of Paediatrics and Community Medicine. Expert Doctors and Paramedical Staff are available in Preventive clinic throughout 24 hours.The following facilities are available in the Preventive Clinic:

Immunisation Programmes:

We are conducting free immunization CUP) for children under 5 years on every Monday ,Wednesday and Friday from 9 am to 2 pm.

Counselling:

Counselling facilities are available for

Health education on communicable and non-communicable diseases, breast feeding, growth monitoring, nutrition and child development.

Anti rabies vaccination:

Anti rabies vaccination and immunoglobulin are made available to those category of patients who are suspected to have been infected with rabies.
